Blind judging will be based on the following four criteria:
1. Aroma - Chili should smell appetizing
2. Eye Appeal - Does the chili look appetizing
3. Taste - Chili should taste good
4. Overall Satisfaction - I would eat this chili again!
Competitors must follow making sure to observe food safety guidelines. All food items must be kept below 41degrees or about 135 degree temperature at all times. When heating food items, you have only two hours to take the food from below 41 degrees to above 135 degrees in temperature. You are responsible for the safety of your own food items.
